Tomorrow is national 2-1-1 Day! San Antonio residents can call 2-1-1 to receive assistance from hundreds of community resources. United Way’s 2-1-1 Helpline connects callers to programs that can help with affordable child care, employment, workforce training, food insecurity, stable housing, mental health services, utility bills, tax preparation, veteran services and much more.

Our 2-1-1 Call Specialists are trained to identify and address the root causes of a caller’s problem to then connect them with a wide range of programs that can meet their needs. Last year, 2-1-1 served 182,658 calls and live chats in San Antonio. The top requests for locals related to challenges with housing, utility assistance and access to food.

A special feature for Military City U.S.A, our 2-1-1 MISSION UNITED Military Navigators can assist active duty, veteran and military families as well. The Military Navigators can help callers find the best military or veteran resources based on their branch of service, status of service and by category, such as behavioral health, education, employment and more.

As always, calling United Way’s 2-1-1 Helpline is completely free, anonymous and available 24/7/365. Spanish and line language translations are available as well.
