Family Resource Center

UWSA is seeking a partner agency to serve as the lead agency for a Family Resource Center (FRC). The selected agency will work closely with UWSA to establish the FRC in a specific geographic area, with a focus on providing services to families with children 0-10. Despite having diverse approaches to service delivery and locations, FRCs share a common goal of improving outcomes for families by serving as a source of support in the neighborhoods where they live. This FRC serves as a hub of support, services, and opportunities for families using a multi-generational approach that is strengths-based and family-centered. The FRC must be reflective of and responsive to community needs and interests, provide customized support at no or low cost for participants and build communities of peer support through the establishment of Parent Advisory Committees.

For consideration of funding, all proposals must be complete, including all required attachments and signatures, and submitted via e-CImpact, by Friday, January 27, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. CDT. Proposals not submitted via e-Cimpact by the deadline will not be eligible for consideration. For questions or additional information, please email rfp@unitedwaysatx.org.

Applicants may apply to implement one or both programs.
