A student’s reading level by the completion of 3rd grade is a known predictor of their academic performance and whether they will graduate on time. United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County is committed to increasing the number of reading programs available to children so that young students achieve reading success.

This is why United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County launched the 2022 Mystery Reader series during National Reading month! Featuring community leaders like Isabella Ireland, Stephanie Serna, Jeff Arndt and others, the Mystery Reader series is a great way to encourage reading through virtual storytelling.

Encourage the young ones in your life to read by watching all nine installments of our Mystery Reader series online.
