FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE –The United Way Family Resource Center Network invites all San Antonio families to attend the “Trunk or Treat Spooktacular” at Methodist Healthcare Ministries Dixon Clinic on Saturday, October 17. Completely free to attend, the event will feature fun activities for all ages and a wealth of community resources that are designed to empower families and support their success.
Activities will include trunk or treating for families with children, community resources, music and much more. Families and their children are encouraged to attend in their Halloween costumes!
The United Way Family Resource Center is brought to the community by United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County in partnership with DePelchin Children’s Center. United Way’s network of Family Resource Centers (FRC) are community-based hubs of support services and opportunities for families. Visitors to United Way FRCs can always speak with a trained bilingual Family Support Specialist to navigate resources to address challenges residents face including food insecurity, housing, child care and education and much more.
