A NETWORK THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

San Antonio Volunteer Administrators (SAVA) provides professional opportunities for volunteer administrators to learn, network and grow professionally in volunteer management. Through the SAVA network, members are eligible to participate in monthly meetings, social events, and the annual SAVA Seminar.

MISSION: to provide education, networking, and support opportunities that promote excellence in the field of volunteer management and engagement in and around San Antonio.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership is open to any person with volunteer management responsibilities or interests. SAVA offers members training, networking and leadership opportunities to enhance the quality of professional volunteer management. It is a program of United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County.

SAVA meets monthly and addresses relevant topics such as recruitment, retention and management of volunteers, event planning, and volunteer recognition. Members may invite guests to meetings.

SAVA Membership is on the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County fiscal calendar year, and membership rates are prorated from January to April. Membership is based on the sector of your employment; with the following rates:

$50 Nonprofit Membership

$75 Corporate Membership

$25 Individual Membership*

*requires prior approval from the SAVA Executive Committee.

Lindsey grew up with a passion for helping others within her community and volunteering was always one of her “happy places.” She has experience in volunteer engagement and has held various management roles over the past 20 years. She has been a SAVA member since 2017 and has served in several roles among the Executive Team for the last 5 years. In her current employment, Lindsey strives to directly assist her nonprofit clients to ensure they are successful in their organization’s volunteer engagement efforts by utilizing the volunteer management platform GivePulse. Lindsey is excited about what the next couple of years have in store and is looking forward to meeting new members!
