Women United, Igniting Change
Women United members bring diverse backgrounds and various life experiences together to unite in their shared passion for community impact, service and philanthropy. Through educational opportunities, volunteer projects, leadership roles and annual events, members work together to uplift individuals and families in our community.
SIGNATURE CAUSE
Women United supports the impact work United Way is leading and their Signature Cause, United Way Child Care Scholarships. The United Way Child Care Scholarships provide funding to cover the majority of the costs for quality child care for parents pursuing a degree for the first time.
Each year, Women United hosts Power of the Purse, a purse auction benefitting United Way Child Care Scholarships and empowering parents to balance work, family and career goals to achieve economic mobility. In 2024, we collectively raised more than $294,000 to support families in our community.
