When you give to United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County, your gift is impacting more people across our community than it could anywhere else because your gift powers our city’s vast network of nonprofits. Each United Way Impact Partner specializes in helping people in our community overcome generational challenges like education, shelter and stability.

“I feel that it’s important to give to the community through United Way because they have an amazing program of giving to many nonprofits in San Antonio,” said Hannah, a member of United Way’s Emerging Leaders. “No matter what cause you are passionate about – homelessness, senior care, food insecurity and others – you can be sure United Way will support that cause.”

Emerging Leaders is a community of 1,600+ young professionals who are driving impact for others through United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County. Members participate in hands-on volunteering events to support agencies serving the community, participate in seminars on leadership and experience tremendous professional development.

“One of my favorite volunteer experiences was when we helped with a beautification project at House of Neighborly Service,” said Hannah. “This was an opportunity where we stepped up to help another philanthropic group that was in need of volunteers on short notice, a great example of the support Emerging Leaders brings to the community.”

United Way’s work provides life-changing assistance across the community to help people overcome our most critical issues. When you give to United Way, you can rest assured that you are creating meaningful change that helps millions of people in San Antonio.

“United Way is a reliable avenue to give through,” said Hannah. “I feel humbled when I think about the work United Way is doing to help others and it gives me perspective on how much I have to be grateful for. I feel that any amount of time or money someone can share with others in need goes a long way.”
